GeoGridAPI vs Local Viking
Local Viking, whose pricing page now leads to the Local Optics app, manages your Google listings: posts, photos, reviews, white-label reports. The geogrid comes as credits included in a monthly plan priced by number of listings. GeoGridAPI only sells the map, per point, with no subscription.

On October 18, 2026, the localviking.com pricing page redirects to app.localoptics.com, whose documentation is signed LocalViking. The prices on that page are the ones used here.
How does Local Viking count a map?
One GeoGrid credit per point, like GeoGridAPI: 49 credits for a 7 × 7. Disabled points are not charged and GeoGrid credits roll over month to month.
Can I run a Local Viking map over the API?
Its documentation describes an API that reads results and webhooks, without saying whether it runs maps or on what terms. GeoGridAPI runs, reads and repeats maps over the API.
