# GeoGridAPI

> GeoGridAPI is a pay-as-you-go geogrid API: a REST API and an MCP server that measure where a Google Business Profile ranks on Google Maps, point by point, across a grid around it (local rank tracking, geo-grid heatmaps). 1 credit = 1 grid point, no subscription.

GeoGridAPI is built for developers, SEO agencies, no-code automations and AI agents that want local rank maps inside their own tools, reports or assistants. It is published by Localnord LLC (United States) and runs on the ranking engine of Localnord, a Google Business Profile management platform. Website: https://geogridapi.io. ## Key facts

- Grid formats: square 3×3, 5×5, 7×7 or 9×9; circle, diamond, hexagon, cross, ellipse or rectangle (13 to 49 points). Radius 0.5 to 30 km. Points that fall in the sea are neither measured nor charged.
- Each point: the listing's position in the Google Maps results (top 20) and the top 3 listings there. Each grid: average rank, the competitors ranking ahead, the change since the previous grid, and a PNG heatmap image.
- Ranking trend over time, batches of up to 50 grids in one call, weekly or monthly repeated grids, webhooks.
- Pricing: prepaid credits that never expire, packs €20 = 10,000 credits, €60 = 50,000, €120 = 150,000, €400 = 600,000 (excl. VAT). A 7×7 grid costs 49 credits, about €0.10 on the entry pack. 500 free credits at sign-up; test keys are free; a failed grid is refunded automatically.
